The New Lunt 80mm MT Refractor is now available for purchase for those who want the World Class optics of the Lunt 80MT Modular Telescope, without the installed hydrogen-alpha module.
The 80MT is a powerhouse Doublet ED APO Refractor, offering a FPL53 Objective Lens for in one of our most popular sized telescopes, and is destined to keep you thrilled throughout the day and night! With exceptional optics quality, in a completely travel friendly form, the Lunt 80mm MT Refractor gives you everything you want and is able to be fully upgraded whenever you wish!
The Lunt 80mm MT Refractor comes with a Dual Speed 10:1 Rack and Pinion Focuser, and includes a complete ring assembly with specialized Red Dot Sun Finder, for use with Solar Applications, that doubles as a handle for easy carrying.
Your new Lunt 80mm MT Refractor can easily be used with our Lunt CaK Module or White Light Wedge for day time solar use- Simply install your accessory into our sturdy and rugged Dual Speed Focuser and zero in on our closest star with the Red Dot Finder Handle. Or if the sun has set, grab your favorite star diagonal for Night time and Terrestrial use and drift through the heavens. (Star Diagonal and Eyepiece not included)
At just over 8lbs, the 80mm MT Refractor is lightweight and easy to move, a true comfort in your hand. And when you find the Hydrogen-Alpha wavelength calling, the Lunt 80mm MT Refractor is 100% upgradeable to its standard form , and is easily converted into a Hydrogen Alpha Telescope. All you have to do is accompany with a Lunt Blocking Filter and appropriate Hydrogen Alpha Module and the sun is yours once more!
